axe96bam 0 #5 March 20, 2002 It is not all that warm here in Chicago either. The highs are only supposed to be in the low 30 's on Thur and Fri, but might warm up into the mid 40's for the weekend. I can't wait until it gets to be in the 70's again.Alex
Sebazz1 2 #6 March 20, 2002 You guys could always try to be really nice with Skybytch and see if you could talk her into warming things up for you. She does control the weather after all........It's funny how I everyone complains about how cold it is were I am and when things are going to warm up. I just say "hey you could be in Canada or Chicago"Sebazz.........

skymama 37 #10 March 20, 2002 Quote we couldn't hate you! Thanks, Kingy! Actually, this weather is great right now. But the downside of it is that fact that it will be like this, and even hotter and more humid, for the next 8 months...ugh!AndreaThe brave may not live forever, but the timid may not live at all. lummy 4 #14 March 20, 2002 Oh C'mon GUYS n GALS.... It's not that bad to jump in the snow???? Just think about how much longer your surfs are....... And you'll eventually thaw out after the beer light comes on....I'm not talking about your pig tails, I'm talking about your sex appeal.... hit the road and I'm gone.... hooked 0 #15 March 20, 2002 I don't like COLD!!!! It has to be freezing up there, when you jump in the snow! Not for me.J
axe96bam 0 #16 March 20, 2002 it is freezing up there. Actually I have never been cold in freefall. My hands get cold only after I have opened. It does suck to jump with a million layers of clothes under your jumpsuit. I have jumped when it has been no more than 20 on the ground and landing in snow is not bad, but I would much rather jump in warm weather.Alex

AggieDave 6 #18 March 20, 2002 I'm enjoying the nice (sorta) weather we're having in Texas right now, usually out spring consites of a rapid change from the mid 30s to the high 90s with high humidity..."I don't want to destroy your sweater, lets be friends and just walk away..." lippy 918 #20 March 20, 2002 Quotelanding in snow is not badOh yeah? Try running out a landing when the snow is real crusty on top. First step my foot went through, then it got stuck, then I ate snow. favaks 0 #21 March 20, 2002 Yep, it's snowing pretty hard here. We get an inch or two and the Seattle area is shutdown. People just don't know how to drive here -- those damn California drivers favaks
Sebazz1 2 #22 March 20, 2002 Quotethose damn California driversIf I remember correctly Washington drivers were the slowest most timid drivers I had ever met?!? I was blowin past people at 65mph?!? Though it might have been because the speed limit was 55mph and there was a Highway Patrol every ten feet..........lol....j/k........Sebazz......... hooked 0 #23 March 20, 2002 I'm in Renton, so I know how the whole city shuts down when it snows. The streets and freeways become parking lots! But then we do have hills, everywhere, it isn't very flat country here.J
Jabeln79 0 #24 March 20, 2002 Spring sucks so far. Cloudy for the last month i think. Ive been at the DZ every weekend in march and havent jumped yet. I havent gone this long without a jump since i started. No jumps and altitude make Joe go crazy. hooked 0 #25 March 20, 2002 That's true about the State Patrol! You won't see a cop anywhere on the roads, until you hit the Washington border, than watch out, they are everywhere!J
