FF Speed in my new suit

Recommended Posts

I'm excited, the guy's I was FFing with yesterday had Pro-Tracks, so I got to find out roughly how fast I/we were going. Top speed of 164mph, slowest being 149mph, Sit-flying with transitions to stands and stuff. :)Thanks again to Karen at Freedom Means Choice for hooking me up with a kickass FF suit for not much money.

In was gonna say in the other thread that it's no wonder you freefly because you must fall like a rock no matter what position your in. I jumped with a big guy like you one time and as soon as the four way rw left the plane we all just looked at this gut in amazement. He was out of sight immediately. :)

I wasn't going to say a word!@ Chrome!
Well Dave needless to say you and I would most definately have fall rate issues. I weigh in @115.......Zooooom....
"Jesus you're packed already? I just got to the landing area!" LMAO
It only takes a little pixie dust......

No, I do have a bit of a gut right now, between mid-terms and spring break I missed quite abit PT, so yup, I'm heavier right now then I've been in a while. :)Yeah, I have a few RW jumps logged that turned from 3-ways, 4-ways, etc to solo dives watching everyone else above me. FFing is nice due to the higher fall-rates anyways, I can go out with other people, they go head down and I can go out in a sit, fly around each other, get some docks, do some cool transisitons and stuff and still have fun in a group. That and ultra-baggy is ok with the FF crowd, I don't think people have done RW in suits similar to the FF suit I have since the early 70's.
:D When I went to one of my favorite DZs a few weeks ago, one of the older jumpers told me I had a nice RW suit..(he was joking, but then again, when he started, those were the RW suits).
