skreamer 1 #5 March 25, 2002 Yes, it is true. Emma and I met the guy running the project. It will be opening in Milton Keynes in August 2003. The tunnel will be using the same technology as the one in Florida. He was explaining some of the challenges they have to overcome, eg. the Skyventure one sucks the air in straight from outside. Obviously this would not be very advisable in the middle of an English winter. So the temperature of the air going into the tunnel has to be regulated. The tunnel will also be 3 feet BIGGER in diameter than Skyventure's! It will not be cheap, but would still work out a helluva lot cheaper than flying to Florida for tunnel-time. Emma and I both offered him sexual favours in exchange for jobs, sadly he seemed more interested in her offer.....
