freaksister 0 #1 March 28, 2002 Update your calendars we are doing it again! SkyFest 2002 will be held on July 19-21st at Skydive Dallas! SkyFest is an annual event benefiting the Jerry Schrimsher Skydiving Scholarship Foundation. Thanks to your overwhelming support for last year’s SkyFest 2001, we were able to raise enough money for several students to participate in a Skydive Coaching program such as SDU. The winners of last year’s scholarship will be announced soon. In addition to all of the "Specialty Skydives” and numerous prizes we have to raffle, the following will be added to SkyFest 2002: * A SkyVan will now be added to the jump fleet for SkyFest on an annual basis thanks to our own Lee and Carol Schlichtemeier, as well as Pat Patton and Larry Hill of Skydive Arizona! * Woman’s Texas State Record Attempts. * Head Down Texas State Record (possible World Record) Attempts. This will introduce the TeXXas 20-Way Head Down Patch. Come get yours! For those of you who were not able to attend last year’s SkyFest, ask someone who did. You Don’t Want to Miss Out!!
