dove 0 #27 March 29, 2002 Well - I'm alive, right? I did have a few minor scrapes (2 broken ribs, almost bit my tongue completely off, nerve damage in my arm, trauma to stomach, diaphragm and intestines) but other than that..... :)
QuickDraw 0 #28 March 29, 2002 So your not trying to impress me then ? Seriously sorry to hear that, were you a student at the time ?..Billions of people living out their lives..Oblivious..
dove 0 #29 March 30, 2002 Nope. Not a student. But the guy who took me out hadn't jumped in 3 weeks or worn his camera in a longer time and was apparently not the adept freeflier I had been told he was. I was in a solid headdown (on tape) and you can see the sky slidding left, left, left, start of a transition and then one frame of me facing my other buddy in a solid headdown. Then me on my back with no helmet, head rolling around. I had no clue what happened until they told me later. Sucked! I was having fun too!
TEB6363 0 #30 March 30, 2002 That's just an ugly thought!!! I'm sorry that happened to you. Great Job on staying with the sport. You come to CA and I'll buy your first jump. I don't freefly, but have had some fun jumping out of planes.:::OK, Canopy is Open, No Traffic Around, .. Why are these "Extra" Lines Draping Down??, Damn!
