Jessica 0 #1 March 30, 2002 So weather.com said, "strong rain" or something like that. But my heart full of hope, I set my alarm for early, and went to bed. When my alarm went off, the rain was pounding the roof, and I could hear the wind howling. I went back to sleep.I was woken up a few hours later by the sunshine pouring through the windows. It's a beautiful, beautiful day. The ground's barely wet. And it's too late to go to the dz and get back in time for work. This is my sorrow.Any volunteers to call me at 7 a.m. tomorrow and yell at me until I get out of bed?No, it's not updated. skymedic 0 #2 March 30, 2002 I'd do it for ya..but I have been in a drug induced coma for the last day and a half.....so I dont think I'd even be able to get up to yell at ya.....too bad..as I wouldn't mind hearing a texas accent....especialy belonging to a texas girl without the big ass hair!!...marcBSBD
SkydiveMonkey 0 #3 March 30, 2002 This is why I call the dz anyway, just to make sure (my dz is 42 miles away, so it's best to check) I'm not crazy - I'm a Skydiver
SudsyFist 0 #4 March 30, 2002 i'm feeling your pain, jessica. perris is about 40 min away, storm clouds have disappeared, leaving only a thin haze in the air, temp in upper 70's, etc.and i've gotta work... *pout*there's a bright side, though -- there's always tomorrow! steve
jtval 0 #5 March 30, 2002 SHIT-- 42 miles away. you can almost jog that! I would rather get out of town and go for a drive anyway just to hang with the skydivers then sit and watch tv....now if I had a cutey li'l texas girl to play with in the rain maybe I'd stay home ,too!getting high is fun, but coming down is the best partJT
