What sacares me is that Olav ZipsTer is eating large breed puppy food and then going out in the atrium and drinking some miracle grow plant water. I am smart like that. I got into the medical filed by accident, I applied for a job and they asked me if I could take a blood pressure...I said, Of Course!!, all you have to do is show me how... and I got the job. I worked my way up from doing blood pressures and urinalysis to administration. And I have maxed out the medical field. I truely can do anything I try... I can even likely sell your grandmother a skateboard. I like sports alot. The only thing I can not sell is something I dont believe in. As far as office work- I am all over it. Nothing new there. I can do it all and run an office by myself, If I have to, done that. I type really fast and can take dictation. airann 1 #64 April 3, 2002 Skymedic- I think we spoke of this before and I totally hear you. Absolutley. When I found out about the tumor I have on my pituitary gland -basically right in the center of my head behind my eyes. Then I saw it on MRI, then they told me what damage it could do and what it had done already... I got real - real fast. Before that, when they whacked off parts of my breast cause they had funky growths there. And I saw those on Breast Ultrasound, Whamo... I got really real and my shyt got into perspective. I still need some more removed but it can wait a minute I try to limit myself to one crisis at a time.Health is the most important thing. Physical and Mental. You are absolutley correct on that point. I would rather have my health perfect than my home. But I dont have that option at all. I gotta live for as long as I can with stuff not exactly perfect. I have to deal with all the side effects of the condition and the side effects of the medications. Luckily I know enough Drs that most of my medications are given to me in sample form. Except for two. So I hear you and I can relate to you to a certain extent that I do have a tumor in my head and some other conditions that require constant meds to shrink this and to replace the thyroid juice that the tumor killed. I am going to get my 41 year old ass up every day and act like I am 10 years old and color in a coloring book if I want. Or plant a plant. Grow a seed. Play with my animals and just plain live my life as best I can. Take a nap and get up and do it again. You however have something that I wish I could take away forever from the face of the earth. But I cant change that anymore than I can poke a stick up my nose and make the tumor go away.One of my favorite songs that I remember in bad times is by that band Chambawanga or something like that. I get knocked down ...But I get up again ...You're never going to keep me down ....I guess I put a happy face on and move along - to the question is your glass half full or half empty...- My glass is too big. I keep my life simple as to important stuff and I stay true to things I have promised my self. After that I make up stuff everyday to get thru it all. I have this Aunt - Aunt Dot, who has never said a negative word in her life, one of the most enthusastic persons I have ever met. I want to be like that. Can you imagine if companies didnt make some of the things we take for granted and it was up to US to make it for ourselves? I kept saying I was going to jump in a cast and this and that. I was silly, but I see it now looking back. I quarantee you one thing Skymedic, you will get help whether you want it or not. You just wait and see. Everyone here loves you very much especially me. Just when you least expect it I will be knocking on your door with a bucket for you to throw up in and I will hold your hair.... skymedic 0 #72 April 3, 2002 You wanna know something that really sucks....if I am too sick to work...I can't pay bills..not that big of a deal...I got savings...BUT...if I can only afford to pay the bills...I might not be able to pay the 950 a month I pay for my daughter's brothers and sisters to get clothes(as my daugthers mom and her live in boyfriend both dont have jobs, and he doesn't have to pay child support for his 5 other little bastards)(and the fact that I was told I needed to buy a coat and winter clothes,and a hat and gloves for my daughter, due to the fact she didn't have any this past november)....but sorry I digress...what really sucks is if I dont pay that....(due to me having a possibly terminal illness) the state will take my drivers license away, my paramedic license away, my instructor licenses away, my surgical technologist license away, the faa will revoke my pilots license and endorsements(they already took my medical but that is a WHOLE NOTHER BITCH),......funny how the administration of the world bites you in the FUCKING balls when you are already down and out...wanna know something even suckier.....I had to have 3 teeth yanked due to an abcess in myjaw that the oral surgeon believes was due to a bad chemo treatment or something along those lines....(still dont understand that one)...I do have my hair still...so THAT is good...most of it anyway...I cut my hair like a marine still..so it's short anyway...I have a great GF...who is a skydiver...I got my Base rig...(perigee2 with a mojo308)....problem is I have a hornet 210,raven DashM, and nothing to put em in...I am trying to see if I can get a cheap ass wings to jump with...but who knows....and wanna know something else..I gotta go for a pre employment physical tommorow...(I wonder if I can pass it...considering I have puked blood up everynight now for a few days)...I had chemo today....that sucked ass....gotta have my daughter with me today....that KICKED ass...I am so lucky to have such a wonderfull creature to call me daddy....even if she likes the backstreet boys(oh well, can't win em all)....well enough from me....MSo4 is kicking in...good night...cheerio...marc"I have no fear of falling, I just hate hitting the ground"-The Badlees...
