Not being a morning person, I find myself up at 5:30 this morning so that I can leave for the airport at 7:00 am. for a flight that leaves at 9:32 am. I got to the airport in good time, but the stupid lines!!!!! I know, it's good for security, but geez. To have to stand in a line for over an hour, just to check the bags, then you have to stand in another line to go through security!! Anyway, I arrived fine and will look forward to doing it all over again a week from now. NOT! I wore my DZ shirt, but I didn't see any other shirts out there at the airports!

I HATE mornings!!!! I only kinda open my eyes when I hit the shower, and only really wake up about two hours later. And if you really wanna piss me off, ask me to do something as I walk in the office, or phone me before 9 am!!!
Life is for the LIVING!!!!! :D

Very much a morning person which is fine as I have to be at work at 06:45.
Used to work nightshift a few years back so I can understand why you night people get so grumpy in the mornings.
I don't care but I understand.:)As for the EMT etc. folk. You guys I feel for. I also did the 24hr call out thing for about 3 years. You can keep it, particularly when it is a two in the morning call because some asshole pushed the wrong buttons...again...........and again......................and again.
Pays good though. Some asshole presses the wrong button often enough and Scratch here gets a new bike. A few more presses and tah da a new rig. You gotta love stupidity in its purest form. It has a beauty all of its own.:D
Every day above ground is a good day.

i'm definitely a night person with a day job. it sux. i remember when i used-to-was a truck driver doing short haul stuff, i'd leave around 10 pm and get home around 6. like most people, when i got home, it was supper time, so i'd have a big meal, slouch around until noon, then go to be til 8 pm or so. i never got to know my neighbours and even on the weekends they didn't seem to want to have much to do with me. then it dawned on me why this was. one morning around 6:30 i was out on the deck, in the snow, bbq'ing a steak and drinking a beer waving at them as they left for work. i guess they thought i was a bit odd. :D

I used to think I just wasn't a morning person, but I've begun to rethink that . . . let's see
Out until 2:30 Friday night, up at 7:00, shower, coffee, and off to the gym, put in 3 miles and then a leg, butt and gutt class.
Out until 4:30 Saturday night (5:30 with time change) up at 11:00 (o.k., that may not count as morning, right?) shower and off to get something to eat.
This morning roll over look at clock 5:20, pull covers over shoulders and hear this voice . . . oh, by the way that clock hasn't been set yet . . . gee, thanks any more good news?!! Haul ass out of bed and into shower.
I don't think it's got anything to do with morning - it's getting up and going to work! And you don't even want to see me before my shower and coffee - Ewwwee!

Me too... takes me at least 10 minutes to get my brain in gear when I arrive at work. I hate it when someone throws something at me just as I'm walking in the door... main reason why I've started getting to work 10-20 minutes early every day.
pull & flare,
