I heard a rumor when I walked onto the dz this morning... $14.50 skydives all summer long! I'm like... yeah... right... a late April Fool's joke... a bad late April Fool's joke at that...
Then I heard Dan announce it over manifest. Woooo Hoooo!! Yup, I'm jumpin' my ass off this summer!
Thanks Jack, Melanie and Pat - you're making it much easier for me to make it to 1000 jumps this year :)pull & flare,
lisa

Want to pitch a tent?

I didn't know DZs could offer *that* kind of service...;):D
Seriously, that's awsome, too bad that is so far away from where I am, or I would definately be there. Maybe you'll start a trend (even though I know you don't want to do this, but I wouldn't mind...)

Time for the Shark to go over the hill to "visit!" Sounds like a great deal! Also time for another DZ.com summer record!!!!
Also, congratulations to ltdiver, cptnstrtn, and albatross on their bronze medal at Skydive Elsinore's SSL. Chaz1234's team took the gold. Congrats to all who attended.

Also, congratulations to ltdiver, cptnstrtn, and albatross on their bronze medal at Skydive Elsinore's SSL.

Thanks, Shark! Don't forget our 4th teammate, Jason Bosinski, Jayboz! He's a dz.commer, too ;). He's the cute, blond, single, 23 y/o one, girls!
It was great to see you there, too, Shark! Thanks to Elsinore for a very well run, and fun meet! Come over to Perris for the next one on May 18! Perhaps some more dz.commers will create some pick-up teams and beat the record number of 12 teams for an SSL meet in California :)ltdiver

Yup, a good time was definitely had!! I was glad to be part of the team.
$14.50 Skydives?!? I just bought a block a month ago. At least I'm more than half way through them.
Good thing I was able to use them for the boogie in Parker AZ, which by the way kicked ass.

That's easy!! Jump yer ass off between now and Memorial Day!!!

That's a no-brainer!
But I'm thinking I should use up my tickets anyhow. That way if I have to leave SoCal (:() they won't be wasted.
Of course, I could make a winter trip back here next year....hmmmm, not a bad idea.
But then again, I may be able to stay out here!
Awww, I'll figure something out.

do earthquakes count as a weather hold?

Only if cracks appear in the runway.
Earthquakes are usually nothing more than something to talk about when we get to work in the morning ("did you feel the earthquake last night?" "what earthquake? Damn I missed it!").
