I didn't know DZs could offer *that* kind of service...Seriously, that's awsome, too bad that is so far away from where I am, or I would definately be there. Maybe you'll start a trend (even though I know you don't want to do this, but I wouldn't mind...)"Homer Simpson, smiling politely."

Jayboz 0 #21 April 10, 2002 QuoteThat's easy!! Jump yer ass off between now and Memorial Day!!! That's a no-brainer! But I'm thinking I should use up my tickets anyhow. That way if I have to leave SoCal () they won't be wasted. Of course, I could make a winter trip back here next year....hmmmm, not a bad idea. But then again, I may be able to stay out here!Awww, I'll figure something out. -Jason
FallingILweenie 0 #22 April 10, 2002 ok, you california folk, fallingmarc and i were discussing the usual skydiving stuff and the topic of california came up and we wondered:do earthquakes count as a weather hold?
skybytch 273 #23 April 10, 2002 Quotedo earthquakes count as a weather hold?Only if cracks appear in the runway.Earthquakes are usually nothing more than something to talk about when we get to work in the morning ("did you feel the earthquake last night?" "what earthquake? Damn I missed it!"). pull & flare, lisa
FallingILweenie 0 #24 April 10, 2002 Yeah, i've been in a few tremors from when I lived in Chile, but nothing major ever happened near me.
scottbre 0 #25 April 10, 2002 So what's it feel like under canopy, when an earthquake happens? Does it affect your freefall at all? They say there's no such thing as a stupid question, but I disagree."Yea, I didn't think we'd actually be turning any points..." ~ Goat #
