Remster 30 #1 April 14, 2002 Hi fellow geeks...I've never seen this problem before, but its completely baffling me!Until today, when an image loaded, I could right click it, and select Save image as.... and a window came up with the name.jpg already filled in...BUT NOW, when I do that, I end up with a window with "Untitled" un the name box, and the only option in the File type is .bmp !!!!! I know the pics are jpgs (my own scanned pics posted from work), so what gives!I'm running explorer 6.0.2600Thx in advanceRemiRemsterMuff
SkydiveMonkey 0 #2 April 14, 2002 Try holding the mouse over the image, and use the little pop up toolbar to save it When you participate in sporting events, its not whether you win or loose, its how drunk you get.

hooked 0 #8 April 14, 2002 I had the same problem a while ago. After many different trys, with the help of Microsoft (did I say help?) here is what finally got me to be able to save in jpg. I hope I remember it correctly as I am not at my computer at home. Try emptying the temporary internet files folder. Let me know if this works. I will be home tomorrow and can look at the printed intructions that I have for this problem. I was "baffled" when this happened to me and it sometimes still does, so I solve it by emptying this folder.J

indyz 1 #11 April 14, 2002 Mozilla has been making great strides over the past 4 years. They froze the developement tree and the next "stable" release will be 1.0! . It seems like it has taken a long time, but I'm running Moz 0.9.6 on Linux and it is more stable than any of the Netscape browsers, and it's fast too. Crashes are fairly rare, and I hear the newer versions do even better. It's worth checking out no matter what platform you run (and there is a version for almost every OS out there).--Brian
