freeflir29 0 #1 April 18, 2002 So I was online last night and started pricing tickets for the Eloy trip. I first went to Cheaptickets.com and then to America West's site. Suprisingly the tickets were $4 cheaper on the airline site and I can pick whatever time I want to fly. The bitch is I was hoping to come out on Friday night instead of Saturday morning. The latest flight is at 7:24 PM which only gives me 1 hour 24 minutes to leave work, drive to the airport through rush hour, park lord knows where, check in, smuggle my rig through security, and get to the gate. I really don't see that happening so it looks like the 8:11 AM flight on Saturday morning is it. I will be able to stay until Monday around 2 PM I think is the flight I will take back. All that said I think $330 for a flight to Phoenix is nuts!!!! $250 would have been much more my speed. Am I just a cheap bastard or is this too much to pay? "It's all about the BOOBIES!" Skyrose7 0 #2 April 18, 2002 well, I wouldn't pay it, but then again, I am unemployed...so, if you have a job--go for it. Did you go to priceline? The mind is like a parachute--it works better when it is open. JUMP.
freeflir29 0 #3 April 18, 2002 QuoteDid you go to priceline? Not yet....I have used priceline before but now I have to be pretty specific about the times I travel so I think priceline is out. "It's all about the BOOBIES!"

dove 0 #5 April 18, 2002 orbitz and travelocity are always the cheapest in my experience.
SkymonkeyONE 4 #6 April 18, 2002 Clay, that sounds high to me. You know, I flew round trip from Fayettenam to San Diego and back for $130 bucks last year. Twice actually: June and December. Try Sabre and also the SouthWest Airlines site.ChuckMy webpage HERE
AggieDave 6 #7 April 18, 2002 At this point I'm either going to just bum a ride out there, or drive, since my timeline is skewed a little. I was going to head out there Thursday, then leave mid-morning on Sunday, since summer school starts that Monday. I'm sure there'll be a couple people around that Thursday, even if they're not Dz.commers, who will want to jump and drink some good Texas beer with me A human cannonball, I rise above it allUp higher then a trapeze, I can fly
SkymonkeyONE 4 #8 April 18, 2002 Agreed. I use travelocity quite a bit. Actually, I go there first and see what they offer. Sometimes, though, they don't have quite the combinations I need, so I see what airline it was that offered that lowest fare, then call them directly and book straight with them at the same cost; sometimes cheaper.ChuckMy webpage HERE
freeflir29 0 #9 April 18, 2002 I didn't actually buy the tickets yet so my options are still open. I'll do some more surfing and see what I can come up with. "It's all about the BOOBIES!"

AggieDave 6 #12 April 18, 2002 Dude, that's some crappy beer you included in your pic. I'll probably bring a case of Lone Star or Miller Lite with me, and maybe something else like some Shiner Bock or maybe Ziegen Bock, since you can only get Ziegen in Texas...A human cannonball, I rise above it allUp higher then a trapeze, I can fly

Divadiver 0 #16 April 18, 2002 Not to high-jack Clay's original post, but has anyone tried Blue Skyy? That's not a beer, that's some kind of fru, fru mixture being sold as beer!Diva
AggieDave 6 #17 April 18, 2002 Technically its a "flavored beer" aka a malt liquor, so yes it *is* beer...its not bad, sort of tasts like a mix between zima and smirnof ice. *shrug* I'll just stick to my Miller LiteA human cannonball, I rise above it allUp higher then a trapeze, I can fly
