kevin922 0 #4 April 19, 2002 Well if you look closely the kiosk has dropzone.com loaded on it, a kiosk is just a computer that has been hardened for a particular function. This one has a touch screen and a waterproof / spillproof keyboard. So in theory you could locate this out in the middle of your local mall and have people walk up to it and be able to get on dropzone.com . In our case it is a visitor entry system people walk up and register themselves into the company.I remember seeing a picture of a small palmtop computer with dropzone.com on it, believe it was Skybytch's ?Kevin

Spy38W 0 #11 April 20, 2002 Quote Very cool! Agreed, V.cool, now if only we could figure out a way to get them installed at the major DZ's (for stuff to do during, wx holds, packing, partying, etc) and a way to keep us geeks from fighting for them, we would be in business. --Drunkometer 2002sober [··················+···] hammered
AndyMan 7 #12 April 20, 2002 most of the DZ's around chicago already have kisosks of some sort set up. Usually they're pretty basic, just a monitor, keyboard, and mouse on a table with the cpu behind the wall.Good luck, though._AmICQ: 5578907MSN Messenger: andrewdmetcalfe at hotmail dot com AIM: andrewdmetcalfeYahoo IM: ametcalf_1999
