AggieDave 6 #1 April 21, 2002 Well, as it turned out, I was able to pull two jumps off yesterday, even with all the Cadet stuff going on. I had a beer light injury, though. Opening a bottle of Corona (remember, they don't twist) with a closed pocket knife (as I've done dozens of times before), the bottle broke and sliced off most of the meat on the tip of my middle finger! Kinda sucked, especially since the bleeding didn't slow for about 40 minutes. That's after putting numorous "bandages" (paper towels) on and ice on it to stop the bleeding. Well, for the next while, I'm not going to be able to tell anyone they're #1 with me, they'll only be #9/10ths...Atleast I had someone to go home with and speed along my recovery nicely...A human cannonball, I rise above it allUp higher then a trapeze, I can fly
airann 1 #2 April 21, 2002 YIKES- I would have passed smooth out!!!I have done that twice with a knife. Once while rabbit hunting with my Dad and etc.... I was whittleing on Bamboo... not a good choice... My Puma sliped and I remember trying to hand off my gun while it was getting really dark.....Then my Dad was choppin off goose necks and I was immitating him and whack was my finger..... I made it from the patio to the dining room and found a nice spot on the carpet....... ploop - again it got really dark and somebody turned off the lights. Then again when my dogs get hurt I nearly go out again.... (I cut a toenail too short) But not when I am in my medical identity.... somehow I deal with all that without passing smooth out. I guess its because we planned to cut em open. I never did like suprises.Ann ~ www.AirAnn.comAnyone want a Kitten?
SkydiveMonkey 0 #3 April 21, 2002 I almost managed to chop off the tip of my little finger once when I shut a penknide onto it - the end was hanging on by about 3 layers of skin When you participate in sporting events, its not whether you win or you're loose, its how drunk you get. kmcguffee 0 #6 April 22, 2002 When you get your commission, your NCOs will never let you play with knives again. A 2nd LT with a knife is an accident waiting to happen!
 AggieDave 6 #7 April 22, 2002 Haha, whats funny is that the knife was closed, that wasn't what cut the tip of my finger off. The bottle broke and sliced my finger...Oh, well, atleast its already healed enough that I can have a normal bandage on it and can use it to sort of type, slowly. I've gone from typing pretty fast to fairly slow, depending on the word.
