Skyrose7 0 #1 April 23, 2002 Well, it is exam week here--and I have reached bottom. I have gone mad. I have been up every night--waaaaaay too late. I slept past my alarm this morning and missed work (luckily- I am working with my mom at the moment b/c my work closed down). So, I just finished a research paper and now have one hour before a spanish final---I CAN"T SPEAK SPANISH, how will I take a final!? No time to study for it, I give up on school.ugh! is there anyone going as crazy as me?--oh did I mention that jumping season just started for me and I can't get it out of my head? Try studying when all you can see is a mental picture of throwing yourself out of a plane and doing a whole bunch of new shit that is just awesome....sorry, that is my rant. The mind is like a parachute--it works better when it is open. Spy38W 0 #6 April 23, 2002 Quote I have reached bottom. I have gone mad. Reminds me of my last semester of college when I was taking 24 credit hours. I was dealing with everything fairly well (making coffee with Red Bull instead of water), until about 3 weeks into the semester I had 3 presentations, and 4 15-30 page papers due the same week, and i SNAPPED. After that week though things got better when I realized that it was all downhill (relatively) from there. I just stayed with it by repeatedly chanting to myself that if I make it through this semester I won't have to do it again. My teachers seemed to worry when I would unconsciously do this in the middle of class. Such a rough semester, I slept a maximum of 3 hours per night on the weekdays, and made up for it a bit on the weekends.--Words I hate: Streamer, Horseshoe, Baglock... freeflir29 0 #7 April 23, 2002 Well...I'm not in any "full time" school just yet but I will be within the next few months. My job kinda sucks....the only good thing is that I can study some (Finished two tests today) and surf DZ.com. Stick with the studies....it will all pay off in the end. "It's all about the BOOBIES!" mountainman 0 #13 April 23, 2002 I totally feel your pain. Right now, I have 18 days left of student teaching. I think I'm going to play hookie one of those days to go down skydiving or something. Also, I have 2.25 more books to read in Spanish. My independant study is reading 8 spanish novels/plays in 8 weeks. Pretty busy to student teach and that. Oh well. It's almost over and I already have a job! w00t!! Just buckle down, study hard and go all out. It'll be over soon.JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

The still alive thing was debatable by the end of the semester, but now that I'm done, yes, I'm fine. I just wanted to finish up and move on with my life, so I dealt with it.--Words I hate: Streamer, Horseshoe, Baglock...

gale 0 #16 April 24, 2002 Yup, I know exactly what you mean. But instead of being distracted by skydiving and not studying, you could be distracted by ankle pain and not studying! I think Tylenol 3's will improve my average don't you???But seriously, keep at it, look at the light at the end of the tunnel, I don't know what you're majoring in, but hopefully it will result in a cool, well-paying job so you can jump all you want. That's my plan, make lots of money, jump lots, get good. Feel free to borrow it if you like.GaleLife's not worth living if you can't feel alive
