propblast 0 #1 April 25, 2002 Since both the FXC and Cypress are water sensitive, what do your dropzones do for intentional water jumps?-ePropblast
hottamaly 1 #2 April 25, 2002 I did mine at Perris and they gave me a harness with a round parachute and in the pool I went. I don't think most DZ's make you use expensive gear for water training. propblast 0 #3 April 25, 2002 Hi Tamaly,I appreciate your answer but it wasnt quite what i was looking for. I ment, not for the training but jumps themselves. Do your DZ have equipment for this?? or promote it-ePropblast
ChromeBoy 0 #4 April 25, 2002 We drained all the water out of the pool and then jumped in that way we wouldn't get wet.If I wanted to hear from an asshole, I would fart.
hottamaly 1 #5 April 25, 2002 QuoteDo your DZ have equipment for this?? orpromote itNo, but I know that the "pond swoopers" either have 2 rigs (1 without a cypress) or are lucky not to dunk themselves or make a great living to afford to replace that stuff all the time. lolI've seen kits sold by Airtec for waterproofing the cypress, but as far as I know, it's for the military, but don't quote me on that. When your post said "training", that's what I thought you were concerned with.SKYDIVING GAVE ME A REASON TO LIVE....
