Come to find out, that study found that extreme sports participants (it listed skysurfing...) are 107x's more likely to drink expensive beer. Hmmm....

Aggie!! Have you read where Sammuel Adams has brewed up some "special" brew. It's about 28% proof beer!! They've only brewed 3000 bottles and the guy that started Sammy Adams is hand signing every bottle. It's a bit pricey to buy a six-pac. The good news is he's going to brew even more next year and it's supposed to be even stronger!! Go Sam Adams!!

Betcha that has something to do with the fact that people who can afford to _do_ extreme sports can afford good beer as well.

After drinking Sam Adams, Spaten, Becks, and the like for so long, domestic beer just will not do. Tastes like Mexican stud horse piss with the foam farted off!
Besides, if you don't have time to eat a good meal, a heavy bodied beer has the 3 basic food groups in it (barley, malt and hops)!
