billvon 3,107 #3 May 13, 2002 Some possibilities:1. They seem a little uneven in terms of manufacture - one person gets a great one, the next one opens hard and always gets into line twists. That makes it something of a gamble to order.2. They may be missing markets. It's not as high performance as swoopers want, but it's not as safe as a Sabre for new jumpers.-bill von
narcimund 0 #4 May 13, 2002 Who says they're not selling? I ordered mine a couple of weeks ago. Turns out I'm getting one of the first Safire2s."Flying without feathers is not easy; my wings have no feathers" -- Titus Maccius Plautus, 220 B.C.
skybytch 273 #5 May 13, 2002 I saw the classified you posted today - did you just lower the price? $875 doesn't seem too high for a 149 in good shape. Hard part about selling used gear is waiting for someone who's looking for the size and type gear you're selling to come along...pull & flare,lisa---On the other hand...you have different fingers

SkydiveMonkey 0 #7 May 13, 2002 I think it's just what the market is looking for. If no-one is looking for a canopy like that, no-one is going to buy it. When I grow up, I want to be a post whore
