mountainman 0 #1 May 15, 2002 Hey all of you Chicago dwellers. Laura and I will be there from May 30 - June 2. It is her birthday on the 30th and we are going to spend 3 nights up there. We will be at Chicagoland Skydiving on Friday and Saturday. Should be a really good time. I have heard a lot of good about them and really hope to finally meet some of you!! Also, I have another question for the natives/transplants: what are some of the "must do's" of Chicago? We are going to head into Chicago on Thursday and Sunday and I really don't know a lot about the city.If you could point me in the right direction, please help. Comments and suggestions are welcome! Thanks, y'all ! ! !JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

skymama 37 #3 May 15, 2002 On my little visit I took to Chicago, I enjoyed the Navy Pier (and it was actually a nice walk going by all the shops downtown to get there), the Natual History Museum, and of course you have to go to the top of the Sear's Tower. I went at night, and it was a cool view.AndreaI'm high as a kiteI just mightStop and check you out.
mountainman 0 #4 May 15, 2002 Thanks for the info, folks! I will certainly take anymore suggestions or comments about this. Is it very easy/hard to find parking in Chicago? I really hate driving in big cities like that and will just want to park and walk. Also, if you are going to be at the dropzone on Friday or Saturday, please let me know so I can look for you! (I will certainly be wearing my dropzone.com shirt. Blues!!JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook.

AndyMan 7 #6 May 15, 2002 I'll be at Chicagoland that weekend... Hopefully it will be my company's "Through your boss out of the airplane day".As for what do to in Chicago, well, you start by stopping by my downtown condo. Then you take Andy out for a beer. Or Andy takes you out for a beer...Otherwise, Navy Pier is fun. If there's a cubs game on, go to it. Navy pier is fun, but it's better later in the summer. The art galleries and museams are fun. Lunch at the top of the Hanckock tower is both affordable and fun. You don't have to pay the fee for the observation deck, either...What else? The Jazz and Blues scene is great. I can take you to some of the better clubs if you want... If you're on your own, check out "The Back Room", and "The Underground Wunderbar" if you like Jazz, or Buddy Guy's Legends on Wabash if you like Blues...The Blueman Group IS a great show. If you go, ask for tickets in the first seven rows.... Parking downtown isn't bad - but it isn't terribly cheap either. Most lots max out at atbou $18/day. Once you ditch the car you could go everywhere on foot. I never drive downtown._AmICQ: 5578907MSN Messenger: andrewdmetcalfe at hotmail dot com AIM: andrewdmetcalfeYahoo IM: ametcalf_1999

You laugh your ass off, and when it's done, you realize that they never even said a single word!AndreaI'm high as a kiteI just mightStop and check you out. FallingILweenie 0 #15 May 15, 2002 I should be at Hinckley those days too....Oh, and something i definitely recommend in Chicago is the Second City comedy troupe. A lot of SNL people (especially back in the day when it was funny) got their start there.Chicago pizza is a must.blue skiesTomas"Marge, it takes 2 people to lie. An otter is NOT made for benches, they're so uncomfortable. I so much like sitting on the floor.....ok, i'm done bitching now.
