kmcguffee 0 #6 May 21, 2002 Quotebut anyone list "Parachuting or Skydiving under Hobbies on your resume? I did and it seemed to help. It generated some questions during the interview. Based on those questions I think it show that I was active, confident, and able to achieve long term goals. At least that is how I steered the conversation when asked. It is a very conservative atmosphere strangely even for the laid back silicon valley. I worked here for almost a year before anyone new (someone saw my USPA sticker on my car). It has since though improved my standing at the firm. I don't believe it would have helped me get my job but now that people know and I have been here for 2.5 years it has increased my popularity and standing at the firm. Especially since I took one of the first year associates on a tandem. Funny one of the Partners called me into her office and asked bluntly "are you trying to kill my attorneys?" She smiled after and started to ask me questions. I rarely talk about it though.Overall it depends how you lead in to it i guess..........Sebazz........
