B17/24and c47 jumps

I know you can jump theb17 and 24 at rantoul/chanute during the wffc. However are they ever available anywhere else. How about a c47 dive.

I don't think so. Seems like there was something on the WFFC web site about the bombers costing $3,000 per hour to fly. I'll bet there are not many drop zone that could afford to have them for the weekend! You would have to have a very large event (WFFC, Airshow, etc.) to get them out.

I can't imagine that a C-47 jump would be a lot different than one from a DC-3!
DC-3 jumps are occasionally available at Perris.

Anyone know of the prices of the specialty aircraft at WFFC? I dont see anything on their page...maybe i'm not looking in the right place. If in fact they haven't said yet what it will cost, what has it cost in previous conventions?

The chopper will probably be between 40 and 60 this year... it was 40 last year but chopper dude lost money.
the bi-plane was 50, another 50 if you want a ride and pics.
The bombers are 300, or a 1:10 raffle for 30.
I think everything else is standard price.

I believe the DZ in Tullahoma, TN has a DC-3 there full time if you're itching for a jump.

Eloy has a DC-3, but hardley ever flies it...

Wow...that Bi-plane is expensive. I believe it's $45 or somewhere around there at Cross Keys and it's there all the time.
I'd also like to know how the bomber jump is tax deductible. Is it for a charity? Even then it's not deductible. Can't deduct a donation if you receive something in return for it.
That high alti jump though....that's something I'd like to do.
