Deuce 1 #1 May 22, 2002 I've got to travel to San Diego at the end of June. What's the scene at Skydive San Diego like? The Otter looks cool, but do they only fly the 182 during the week? Friendly? RW v. FF? I plan on jumping there anyway, but I'd like to know what to expect. Thank ewe.
Shark 0 #2 May 22, 2002 SSD is pretty cool. Not sure what they got during the week since it has been a year since I was out there last on a school night. I'm sure some of the other gang will resopond, but you should try to make the 1 hour drive north to Elsinore and Perris. Do the SoCal Triad, etc.

Last few weeks they've been flying the otter on at least Fridays, often Thursdays as well.>Friendly? RW v. FF?Friendly, mainly FF during the week, some RW on weekends - there's one organizer (Steve) who shows up most weekends. Loads are generally at least 50% students.-bill von
eharris 0 #4 May 22, 2002 You're gonna love SD. Beautiful scenery (water, mountains, green green green!) and fun people. I think the otter climbs to alt in something like 13 minutes & you can't beat that. Lots of freaks there, although rw stuff is always going on. Not sure about the schedule during the week, since I only get there on weekends (however I'm mainly a Perris/Els gal). Where are you coming from and when are you gonna be here?trouble
Vance 0 #5 May 22, 2002 Go check 'em out! They got a good thing going down there. Quick Otter ride, great ocean/San Diego view, not too far from all that SD has to offer. Have fun!!
Deuce 1 #6 May 22, 2002 I'll be down the weekend of the 22nd. I've got a conference during the week but they usually break early and I was hoping to get some evening jumps every day, I'll be leaving Friday the 28th. I didn't even think about Perris. I might stop by there on the way down just to say I've done it. Definitely want to jump all day Sunday in San Diego. -JP

eharris 0 #8 May 22, 2002 This is too weird - I'm from Antioch. Lived on Lone Tree & Deer Valley Road. I moved to Southern Cal in August 2000. We have to hook up when you're in town. Maybe you could come jump Perris on the 29th? You can e-mail me at work eharris@lrn.com. I never check this one.Look forward to hearing from you.Mtrouble
