Dunno if it's the same but I got excimer laser (bye bye glasses) and 4 days later (1-operation day, 2-resting day and a lil outdoor party at night, 3-outdoor party day and night, 4-jump day) I made 3 jumps. Make sure you have your dark glasses EVERYTIME. Jump with black lens goggles and please be very carefull with your eyes. Oh yeah remember your eye drops and have your fake tears at hand.
Explain to your doctor about the goggles and how they "don't" seal your eyes like a scuba diving mask (or show it to him) and that it gives your eyes protection to the wind, dust blah blah blah and they are tinted or black.
The doc did told me 3 months but for scuba diving.

I know poeple (at least three) that jumped two days later (surgery thrusday -- big ways &/or fast 4way Saturday). They wore full faces. Dr Joel did their surgury and he's a skydiver, also. I'm making no recommendations either way :)

Full face is good, but wear a pair of sun glasses (its a must), the light (sun, artificial) is a bitch at first.
Doctors concern are: no indoor parties (cause of the cigarrete smokes and black ligths), protect your eyes at all cost, don't touch your eyes, wear sun glasses at day, try to stay home at night and use your medicine including the refreshers (fake tears).

thanks for all comments... looks like between 3 days and 3 months. guess i'll toss a coin or throw darts or something.
btw, i thought the main issue would be pressure changes (taking goggles or a full face helmet as a given) - that's what the doc here seemed to be talkin about. but then again, he admitted he just didn't know.
