Curtis 0 #1 May 25, 2002 Hi,Maybe someone here can help me. I have heard of people talking about this device they have used to help them learn and practice sky diving. I think it was a very huge fan that when they turned it on, it would blow so much air that it would lift them off the ground about 5 or 6 feet and would allow them to practice their skills. I think they were saying that like 5 minutes on this thing was like worth 10 jumps.Have you heard of this, seen it or know who makes them? I'm interested in getting something like this to start a business in my area. I think something like this would be the ultimate thing for sky divers. (and something fun for the community, which I think would bring in a ton of business)Thanks for your time!Curtis Stevens

Curtis 0 #3 May 25, 2002 Cool, that is, thanks.Would you say this is a very popular thing among sky divers? Meaning would a lot of them use it or ??Do you know who makes the wind tunnels or is just build it yourself? Why is there only a few in the US, not tha popular or ??Also, are the fans on the bottom or top, does it blow you up and suck you up? I couldn't tell by the picture.Any more links besides that one? I'm just trying to get anyone's opinion on this, and if it would a be a good idea to offer this as a business?PS: How much does it cost, 100, 200K?ThanksCurtis

Jessica 0 #5 May 25, 2002 The tunnel in Orlando cost well over a million to make and the newer versions of the tunnel are even more. There are 3 more tunnels like this being planed in the states. One at Perris, CA. One near Crosskeys, NJ and one near Eloy AZ. These tunnels are the pull type with the fans at the top of the tunnel. The cheap knock of tunnels used at the ones in TN and Las Vegas are pushers that are barely worth the money. www.skyventure.com is the best....
