flyingKiera 0 #1 May 27, 2002 A friend of mine wants to start skydiving. Does anyone know somewhere i could get some info on RAPS and AFF i could print for him? He doesn't have access to the internet so i'm trying to find some stuff for him.
gale 0 #2 May 27, 2002 Check out the Safety tab up top. Under that you will find AFF course material for two instructors. It should give a good idea of what to expect. Other then that, just tell them to go out to their local drop zone and talk to people. I know I'm always happy to talk someone's ear off about the first jump course, etc. And I'm guessing someone much more knowledgable then myself would be available too! (Students such as myself just sometimes give a different perspective on the experience as opposed to all those pesky facts the instructors give.) GaleIsn't life the strangest thing you've ever seen? Remster 30 #6 May 28, 2002 Kiera, the Langar DZ webpage has some good info on the different courses. Have look at that page:Quotehttp://www.bpslangar.co.uk/html/beginners/index.htmIts pretty much standard at any DZ, so even if you are too far away from Langar, the same course will be close to identical.RemsterMuff
