mccordia 74 #2 May 28, 2002 Maybe this is something for the photography and video forum, but anyways....Premiere up untill version 5 can only import .wav and .aif audio and also has problems with importing MPEGSo you need to convert your mp3's to .wav to be able to use them, or get Premiere 6.0 which CAN import mpeg/mp3 files.mp3 to wav is easy...just open winamp, in the preferences>output, slect the Disc-Writer plug-in, and your MP3 will be saved as a .wav on your HD..."We put the FUN in dysFUNctional"http://www.3dluvr.com/mccordia/

jdhill 0 #5 May 28, 2002 Importing is how you get video or audio files that are already on your HD into a project...You should "open" projects and "import" video into them... that can be done either by capturing it or by the "Import" option under the file menu... this should also work for the MP3s... when you open the import dialog box (File>Import>File or Folder) make sure the you select the type of file you plan to import... you can also select "all available file types" (or something like that).Hope this helps...Joshhttp://www.aerialfusion.com

airann 1 #7 May 28, 2002 Render it to a mov file or avi then shove it thru a scruncher to make it a mpg file and Walah...........ck it - this is the only news of great concern at the moment here in Texas.... ....
