So lets say there's this guy, who's going to the LP boogie this summer. He's from a place where he is legal drinking age, but may be just a little shy of 21. Although I, um, I mean this guy is a very responsible drinker, and would only be buying beer to share with fellow DZ.commers for his first boogie, would he be, say, subject to getting carded or fined, or is it fairly liberal there?

tradionally age isn't a big factor in drinking at the dz....that's a normal dz though... at boogies it all depends... i have yet to see anyone get asked thier age at a dz other than just thier drivers liscence at manifest tomake sure they are 18..... just don't do anthing stupid and it shouldn't be a problem....and most skydivers will help ya out with buying the beer......remeber don't get crazy drunk cuz hen ya just ruin it for evryone else that comes after ya....i'm over 21 myself so i don't have to worry about it...., but man, those first 3 ears in the sport sucked cuz i couldn't go buy the beer i owed myself............

Dude come to Panama legal drinking age is 18 but you can drink at any age and if you are with somebody older than 18 everything will be A-O-K.

My first jump was close to sunset and so the DZ staff and jumpers asked my friends and I to stick around to have some cold ones. They could have cared less that I was 20, they were just happy to have brought a new jumper into the world. Who cares, as long as they're not like 15 or something crazy like that...

The LP boogie is pretty laid back. Any farther laid back and it would be in full recline. I seriously doubt anyone will card you, hell it would shock me.
If they do, don't worry there will be plenty of us there to get you drunk. I quit drinking 12 years ago, but there is nothing I enjoy so much as somebody else's hangover.
I'll be there the entire boogie. Just come down in front on manifest, where Mad John is putting together bigways and ask for me, or look for a short scraggly guy in neon green and pink freefly suit incase I'm trying to freeflop.
