AiRpollUtiOn 0 #1 June 6, 2002 Got more info from one of the people running skydive flanders and Moorsele DZThis girl was doing AFF, had done 7 jumps before and didn't have problems under canopy.She apparently turned downwind and crashed into a fence, and died of internal injuries.Her instructors don't understand why she made the decision to turn donwind.She will be burried on saturday, Belgian DZ's will not start activities untill after the ceremony.Blue skies. Why you ask? She was having trouble stearing the canopy WITH THE REAR RISERS!!! Why didn't she unstow the toggles you ask?
