Not Jumping

Recommended Posts

I am now recovering from neck surgery and am now unable to jump. My feet have been stuck to the stupid ground too long. Neck injury was from waterskiing. I was only in AFF 6 with skydiving, but already addicted to the sport. Anybody have any ideas for withdrawals from skydiving, I would appreciate your help

Just hang in there. I spent over a year on the ground due to back problems/surgery and, yes, it sucks. Keep your eye on the prize - getting better and getting back in the air - and you'll get there. Work the PT hard too - get that neck strong.
Good luck! :)pull & flare,

I am also grounded for now. Injured a nerve in the wind tunnel at the BEGINNING of AFF!!! The most important thing is you heal and heal completely...don't rush it! Good advice here. Great time to visit DZ's, learn all you can, etc.

Go to a certain well known shop search out some nice videos, depending on your taste, but anything by Patrick Passe, Norman Kent, or anything that involves freeflying would be cool, then phone Skybytch and place your order......Then you can mooch around the couch and watch jumping all day long.
Oh, don't forget to stock up on the world team video .....
