Seems there's a stomach virus running through my family, so Dad called me this morning and said he feels like shit, so he told me not to come by the house so I won't catch it. It's so great working for someone who actually cares about your well being!
So....what to do, what to do.....
Of course, I could go jump, but I have mom duty this afternoon and it would cut the day short.
I could clean the apartment.
(consider that a fleeting thought!)
I could go to the pool and break in my new bikini that I just bought.

Here's an update so far on Skymama's day off....
A much younger man who happens to be very cute, came over and we went on a bike ride and explored a new trail. Of course the sign on the trail said, "sidewalk closed", but we took it to mean that that was for the other people, not us. The pre-skydiving mama would have obeyed the sign, but the new me laughs in the face of the establishment- ha ha ha ha!
Currently, we are taking a lunch break, and we are waiting for another cute guy to come over so we can go out to the pool. Now, I guess I'll fess up that the cute guys are my 11 year old son and his friend! Oh, I ran my computer in safe mode, and it still wouldn't defrag, so I've given up out of total frustration!

The virus started with 2 family members last week, BEFORE I cooked for them, but it did probably get passed to my parents while we were all together.
