slotperfect 7 #1 June 13, 2002 Saturday June 15th I will be driving down to Orlando with my family, meeting all my in-laws for a Disney (etc.) vacation. Of course, I will have my rig safely stowed underneath the sunscreen and bathing suits in the back of the SUV. I will stop by DeLand on Sunday June 16th while visiting some good friends there, but I will not have time to jump. Monday June 17th the whole crew wants to go watch the Space Shuttle land at KSC . . . since watching the shuttle land doesn't really interest me, I plan to drop them off there and go make a couple of jumps at Skydive Space Center. I hope to see some of you at both places! I'm not sure if my recently ordered Dropzone.com t-shirt will arrive in time for the trip, but I'll figure something out and post it here before I go.Respectfully,SP
skymama 37 #2 June 13, 2002 You're going to a theme park in the middle of June in FL? Oh my gosh, get ready to melt! Go buy some of those personal fans before you come. They charge a fortune for them at the park, and once you get in one of those lines, you'll be very jealous of the people who have them if you don't. Also, I just saw the forcast. Typical scatterened afternoon thunderstorms are predicted, so plan your activities for the mornings and evenings. You'll still be able to hear the shuttle land, even if you don't go out to KSC. We can hear the sonic boom inland-it gives you a good jolt if you're not expecting it!I will be at Deland on Sunday. SInce it will be hot, I'll be dressed in as little as possible! Look for me- 5'8", curly brown hair, and make sure you say hi. We're planning a river bash for that evening to celebrate June birthdays-will you be around?AndreaI'm high as a kiteI just mightStop and check you out. slotperfect 7 #9 June 14, 2002 Yeah, I know . . . my Father-In-Law's vacation time frame limited us to when we could go. It has been mid to high 90's here this week, so I have been "in training." We will have fun regardless. Thanks for the tip on the fans.I will post my description and attire here tonight before I crash for the night. I'll look for you and other that post replies here that they will be at DeLand on Sunday. I won't be able to stay long enough for an evening party . . . we are having dinner with good friends in your area before heading back to Orlando to plan Monday's activities. Thanks for the offer though!See ya!Respectfully,SP

Muenkel 0 #11 June 14, 2002 If the shuttle is landing at KSC, it is possible they will not be allowing loads to go up at SSC, due to security and safety measures. I would confirm this with SSC.Have fun!!!"JANE, HOW DO YOU STOP THIS CRAZY THING?"Chris
