wingnut 0 #1 June 17, 2002 yup.......a cactus molested me this weekend....... went up to front range skydivers in calhan colorado at a nice elev. of 6000msl and made a jump....we took off in 20knt winds and when we were landing it was gusting to 30knts.....lots of fun...jump run needless to say was way upwind.... i was a little wary of jumping my sabre 150 at that altitude i load it at around 1.4:1 and it's fast at sea level.... well the high winds help me i have a very soft tiptoe landing that imediatly started being pulled back wards... i fell and got draged across the ground a little before i could get the toggle all the way in and stop......lets just say that the "micro-cacti" that inhabite colorado are not plesant.. it took me a while to pick the thorns out of my hand, ass, leg, and jumpsuit...but i did meet up with prephect a newer poster on here and made a jump with him....he really got draged and ended up cutting his canopy away on the ground.. it took him about 1 hour to pick the needles out of himself. then when i help him put his main back on i ask "where's your cutaway handle?"...he left it out in the field... so we had to take a hike out there (with a beer of course) and find it wich was easily done since there is no really high grass there..... all in all it was a fun weekend even if i did get cactus up the wazoo......lol....next week is a big boogie there with a hog roast and band and one hella big party!!!!!!!!!!! woo hooooooooooooooooooooooo it only took a little pixie dust to change this mispelling Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

BTW, anyone know how to wash a tony suits suit safely? Wingnut is pretty cool, that van of his looks like he painted it while on acid. I helped him drive his shaggin' wagon to his place, he practiced arching and throwing out while on his motorcycle. It was pretty funny to watch. It actually took about 2 hours to pick the needles embedded in my flesh. Anyway, hope to see any dzcommers at the boogie. Skycat you should come. Wingnut used the O2 and he didn't look too bad. If fact, wingnut found my cutaway handle. Remind me that I owe you a beer for that. Winds were about 25, I landed and started to run, but then the wind gusted and just dragged me over every cactus plant on the friggin dz....Blue ones.
