gemini 0 #1 June 17, 2002 After the 3 day Texas State Record boogie at Skydive Spaceland, I was lucky enough to be on the late, late sunset load on BA with NacMacFleegle, Trent, Ramon, Skydivedookie, Rachill, and others I don't remember. They were all freeflying, so I didn't get to jump on NacMacs last Spaceland jump, but before going out the door he got the "salute".We all will miss NacMac and hope we get a chance to jump with him again someday!Blue skies Dave. So they should be with you soon.Nacmacfeegle boards the continental flight to London at 3.55 on Friday afternoon.I am going to miss Texas, but more significantly I am going to miss all the good friends that I have made here.The very good people at Spaceland have been very gracious hosts to me. There is a real family atmosphere at this DZ, the first time I visited Spacey, I knew that this was something special.There are a lot of regular (and irregular I have also had a blast visiting San Marcos, and Skydive America.I will miss far too many people to list everyone here, and don't want to offend anyone by missing anyone out, suffice to say I love you all..I really would like to say I will be back, but I just don't know, I'd rather not make a promise that I can't keep.I will stay in touch, and will send Pippy my contact details, if you guys ever make it over to Scotland, be sure to look me up so I can repay your hospitality. Besides the skydiving world is a small one, its more than likely that we will run each other again, sooner or later.And of course I will continue confuse the forum with my sense of humour and inane babblings......I'll just be about six hours ahead of you guys when the pub opens......That is all....... As you know, I am recovering from major surgery that they insisted I have at the Emergency Room a week ago last Saturday. However, I a tuff Texas woman and I expect that if you said you were jumpin this week sometime I might show up and accidently fall out of the plane with my rig on. Yeah... I am pretty sure of it....
