lummy 4 #1 June 18, 2002 If I wanted to sell a really good condition TonySuit (slick material, white with blue grippers) with booties to help finance a free fly suit which I will use, what would be a decent price, a great price and an absolute steal in your opinion? I got it from a very good friend in trade for computer stuff. The thing is, at this stage of the game, it's just collecting dust in my closet. I've worn it 1 day for an RW camp and that's it. I'd rather sell it to someone who could use it and apply that to something I could use.... the INTERNET comes in any color you'd like

lazerq3 0 #3 June 18, 2002 Ahh what the hell.........I'd say 150$ sounds like a good price......however if you bought it for like 200$ new and only wore it once then maybe 180ish$.....I dunno..just quessing!jason

nws01 0 #7 June 18, 2002 I bought a used RW suit in excellent condition awhile ago for $150.00. I think that was fair.Blue Dreams,Nathan
rgoper 0 #8 June 18, 2002 remember...you wanted HONEST opinions. i GAVE a $325.00 FF suit to a fellow sky diver who just got off of the AFF program at the dz. he had about 65 jumps and was trying to do sits, and head downs in a rw suit. he's a good young man, so i helped him out. plus it's my way of giving back. i've got two new DaKines anyway. (only one of which i like) i need to find a better mfgr. of suits, so it doesn't take so long to get them.Richard"Gravity Is My Friend"
lummy 4 #9 June 18, 2002 Yeah, you are right Richard. I have another RW suit which I use which is baggy which at some point I'd probably give away to a newbie. This suit isn't really newbie material tho, and I'd be cautious about selling it to one (read FAST) the INTERNET comes in any color you'd like
diverdriver 7 #10 June 18, 2002 You might grab a Tonyt Suit order form and see what that suit plus options sells for. Go for 75% of that and look for people at your DZ that fit the general physical size it would fit. Go up to them and ask if they need another suit. Some people may not pay attention to a suit just hanging but if you work "the sell" then it might go away quicker.Chris
lummy 4 #11 June 19, 2002 Oh but Seb.... I couldn't sell it to you tho.. I mean, the one time I did wear it, all the gals were telling my what a NICE jumpsuit it was.. you wearing it (and the gals opinion of your butt as it is) and the rest of us guys would NEVER get any ;) the INTERNET comes in any color you'd like
