AiRpollUtiOn 0 #1 June 25, 2002 Just a few images of a perfect weekend! First pic is friday-night, Skyvan just arrived at Spa (Belgium) in replacement of their Caravan. The ass with at that point big wallet in it is me! Sunday evening that wallet was a lot thinner!!! see here: http://134.130.112.40/resources/galerie/20020621/img0003.jpg Second one a tandem master (really cool guy) taking a sleep! see here: http://134.130.112.40/resources/galerie/20020623/img0015.jpg Third one a shot on one of the jumpruns, I'm in the bottom left with the black helmet and the yellow grips. see here: http://134.130.112.40/resources/galerie/20020622/img0019.jpg This weekend was sooo great. 1 4-way on friday, worked really well Saturday 2 2-ways, 1 hybrid 3-way (me the only one on the belly, that arch to get level hurt!!!!) and one 20-way that didn't work out, my slot wasn't ready at 4000ft, so I kinda lay there in the "dead spider" position! Sunday one 4-way and a really cool 6-way (3 pairs staying together flying blocks) This was my best weekend skydiving so far!!!! The evening bbq's, bottles of rhum and atmosphere were like the cherry on the pie!!!!"Don't make me come down there" - God. freeflir29 0 #5 June 25, 2002 Nice pics....so a Skyvan can lift that much weight?? Kind of suprising.
AiRpollUtiOn 0 #6 June 25, 2002 They were lifting 20 on first load after refuelling, and 22 on the second and third load We did a 20 way, I was in the second group (we had to go in 2 groups for weight & balance. When the first ten left and my group was running to the "hole!!!" the plane acted really funky because of 10 people getting out. I had a butterfly-like feeling because of the wobbling just at the moment I got out, wwwwwooooooooowwwwwww That was the coolest exit ever, what a feeling. Been a long while since I had that WHHHHOOOWWW SSHHHIIIITT feeling on exit! radical!"Don't make me come down there" - God. AiRpollUtiOn 0 #8 June 26, 2002 Quotethe wobbling bit isnt too scary... the stalling bit is! You're absolutely right, the wobbling bit isn't scary, it's fantastic, and I can imagine the stalling bit would make you scared shitless! I heard a Caravan stalled a few weeks ago at Schaffen on drop run-in @ 13000 ft The pilot regained full control @ 8000 ft No serious injuries, only a few bruises in the "luggage compartment", but I don't think I ever want to experience something like this!"Don't make me come down there" - God.
