kingbunky 3 #1 June 29, 2002 jump #10, first pff jump, 40 seconds of freefall, guess i can finally say i skydive! what a rush, but i remembered most of it for my debrief, and due to a change in the winds i landed about 300 yards past the target, in the middle of the runway. turned around to ground the canopy and was treated to the sight of a cessna bearing down on me. i grabbed my stuff and burned rubber getting out of his way, but he went around anyway. i was told that was the pre-second time this year someone made the plane go around on final. i think i'll take the student exemption from beer, then buy a keg for graduation. jump 2 and 3 tomorrow if we don't get winded out again, then maybe 4 and 5 on monday. long weekend in canada! woohoo!!!!"Hang on a sec, the young'uns are throwin' beer cans at a golf cart." If there is, you guys have it waaay too easy in Canada! OKokok, I have heard of not sticking students with the first jump case, but there is NEVER an exemption for landing on asphalt, OR the runway! kingbunky 3 #6 June 30, 2002 we have four seasons in canada, same as you guys, but ours are different. we have almost winter, winter, still winter and construction. right now we're into the construction season, which lasts until labour day. i fully intend to honour my beers, but since everything is a first, it'll be easier to wait until i get a solo certificate and then buy a keg."Hang on a sec, the young'uns are throwin' beer cans at a golf cart."
