grue 1 #1 July 2, 2002 Heya- I'm new here, so I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I figure if it's not, the mods will move it anyway :D I've wanted to go skydiving for a long time now, and now that I'm finally old enough to afford it on my own(a dinosaur-like 20 years of age, yeehaw!), I've had friends mention weight restrictions and/or size restrictions. I'm about 6'3", 225-235lbs depending on season, and of very athetic build. Will this present any problems, perhaps needing a specially equipped DZ, or should most any DZ be able to handle someone of my size?cavete terrae. You're too young for me, I'm asking for the other girls! Actually, I think a VERY experienced and well-known jumper here in Deland named Vladi Pesa is about your size, or even a little bigger, so it can be done. Of course, he jumps a canopy about the size of a handkerchief now.She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
 Derekbox 0 #4 July 2, 2002 Im not that tall but I wieght about that much. A lot of dropzones are starting to use tandeming as a part of regular training though, AFP or IAF programs. The prices you listed were about right.
