indyz 1 #7 July 5, 2002 QuoteCry me a river. Boo-fucking-hoo. I work in an amusement park. I got to stand for 7 and a half hours and deal with drunken rednecks. How the hell can anybody afford to get wasted on $5.50 beers, anyway? Wasn't all that bad, I got to see some cool fireworks and I have a date on Saturday. quatorze 1 #8 July 5, 2002 Oh the joys of working for an airline. 9pm to 7:30am and then....no and then...and then, off to the DZ and the lake to pretend that this week did not really happen I'm not afriad of dying, I'm afraid of never really living- Erin Engle

cloud9 0 #10 July 5, 2002 I'm stuck in a refinery Wed - Sun nights 6pm - 6am. But at least the DZ is only an hour away. So if I only sleep 3 hours sat I can still get some jumps in before I have to get back to work.

Spy38W 0 #12 July 5, 2002 Eh, I had to work, but it's not so bad. Went out to the DZ, flew a bunch of loads, did the first jump after my third cutaway, still feeling the reserve ride funk, but its getting better. Plus the DZO made some kickass chicken wings, weren't hot enough for my liking because of the need to satiate those with a lower tolerance for spicy foods, but very good anyway. -- Hook high, flare on time

skydiverbrian 0 #15 July 5, 2002 I was stuck in an ambulance for 14 hours racing around Orange County picking up the remaining digits after people light off cheap roadside fireworks and and prying drunks out of the cars they'd wrecked. Oh joy! In a world full of people, only some want to fly... isn't that crazy! --Seal
freeflir29 0 #16 July 5, 2002 Well....I spent all day at the DZ. In a class room...listening to the plane come and go......didn't get one jump in. I'm almost done with my Coach's rating though!!!
