He walks with his eyes turned toward the sky
And flies by the seat of his pants
He can tell a story of life and courage
But listens to raves and rants.
"We need a go-around" they say numbering but just three...
He answers in his cordial manner:"We'll have to wait and see."
They sit up by the bulkhead
Even though the light is green
They make him go around again
Which he had foreseen.

He smiles a smile that reaches his eyes
He knows there is no cure
Go arounds don't bother him much
Of this you can be sure
When the day is done and shadows fall
The moonlight in the sky
Monk's face you'll see looking up
For he only wants to fly........

Hey Sweetheart

I definitely needed that. I spotted some off yesterday REAL BAD. Eh...it was the first load of the day and they took a long time to climb out. It's a learning thing. Of course one of them didn't let me forget that he was PISSED. Oh well.

By the By...I still can't find that stuff you were talking about. I can't seem to find your message. I'll keep looking though.

See You on Thursday??

Digitari? (confused look)

Oh they weren't whining. Actually they were good about the whole thing. I could just tell that one of them was PISSED off. Again...oh well. Cant' expect a 50 jump newbie to pull off a 28 point dive right out of the starting gate Every time.

Hey Monk, it happens....they're always out there to screw you. I love when a competition four way team takes 30 seconds in the door.....they're so special. When I see that happening I usually yell to the closest person that they are going to be long if the people ahead don't get out. So at least they know they will be long and will have to pull high. But I usually get away with it using the hook pattern jump run. It gets everyone out on one pass even if the first group takes forever.

Hey Chris!!

I've been reading the heck out of your website. Before I actually found it I spent all night last night figuring throws and drifts and canopy penetrations and makable distances. Then I came across your site and it was great because with the info there as well as the free fall simulations my quick stuff was within 70ft. Plus all the safety info....Cudos!! It'll keep me ticket in hand. Your work is muchos appreciated!

Grrrr Baby ....VERY Grrrr! I'll be good.

Monk, I'm a relatively new jumper, and even I know that it's the jumpers ultimate responsibility for the spot. Do the best you can, and if the jumper(s) didn't learn how to spot for themselves then maybe a long spot wil motivate'em ;)!

Don't stress it, and allow yourself a learning curve as everyone else does!

Oh thats right Monk inevitably we are. But more importantly.....Never, Never, Never look back into the cabin.......you don't want to see what goes on back there. Course if someone comes right up to you for a boobie shot or to give you a kiss thats different...you can just turn your head to the side. But DON'T look back it may ruin your innocence!!!!!! *note to self....keep Val away from Monk
