wingnut 0 #1 July 9, 2002 hey all, i know i've been away for a while now, just wanted to let ya know what's going on with me. i got both my racer containers grounded because of a flaw in the large three ring that has gone unchecked for 20 years!!! so i'm selling my two reserves and my main...[subliminal message]look in classified adds[/subliminal message] and i'm having back surgery on the 19th of this month. i'm going to take about a year off from the sport, save some money/pay off debts and then go hard core like lisa did when she got back to jumping.(doesn't meen i'll be a stranger to dz's though) i should hopefully be back in ohio to stay with my parents for 3 weeks on the 26th. they(the military) are suposed to give me 30 days sick leave so that will be cool. well i'm without internet for another 10 days untill i get my cable modem hooked up in my new apt. here in colorado springs........any one wana come visit????? well have fun you guys.... ______________________________________ "i have no reader's digest version" Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Not that No. 1 style ring problem? Heck, if I had known that I could have sent you out some retrofit rings - I have a box of them. Changing them out is pretty easy. He is in Denver now so it would be a piece of cake getting them to you. I'm not sure how much they cost, but it is less than getting a new rig and it would keep you in the air. I know surgery's a scary option, but believe me, when you wake up after they're done and that damned pain in your ass is finally gone... it's worth the surgery pain in your back! Hang in there, take all the pain meds they'll give ya, don't pinch the nurses asses and feel free to call, email and/or pm me if you need encouragement. I hope yours goes as well as mine did.
