slotperfect 7 #1 July 8, 2002 Raeford was a fun place to be this weekend. The weather was kinda bad on Thursday off and on, so I went home early. I think Chuck Blue hit a milestone that day; I'll let him share the specifics though! I had a blast doing tandems (backloops from the CASA!) and AFF, and topped off a great weekend by taking my wife Monica up on her first tandem skydive. She is an A License holder, but hasn't made a jump in 10 years. I really had fun relaxing and letting loose with her. She controlled the exit, waved off and pulled, then assisted me with the flare. "Just like riding a bike" she said. OK, well almost! And yes, I got two handfuls of boobies on deployment, preserved forever on the video! freeflir29 0 #2 July 8, 2002 Sorry I missed all the hoop-la. I had to get those blasted jumps in this weekend or else. Had to beat that board meeting later this week. Congrats to the spousal unit on her jump and boobie groping. Maybe I'll get up there for Labor Day.
Pammi 0 #3 July 9, 2002 Phew! At least we weren't the only losers who couldn't make it :) ha! Ah, well, we're losers x 2 though. Soon, soon.... So who actually made it? At least I'm perfecting my beach tan with all the time we spend there now...gawd I love being by the beach! If you can jump...

SkymonkeyONE 4 #6 July 10, 2002 All of you eight who originally said you were coming missed a good time. I made my 3000th jump on the 4th of July, got pied with SAURKRAUT pies (yuck!), then got plenty drunk. The only out of town dropzone.commer who made it was F1Freak from Suffolk, VA. He is now known as "spastic monkey". The boy is an absolute mess and was a riot once we got him blistered. I have no idea whether or not he made any jumps after the Thursday night fiasco because I had to haul ass to another party for the rest of the weekend. Anyway, it was fun and shame on yall for missing it; I was looking forward to meeting some of you. Pam and Merrick: yall need to come down and fetch the present that came in the mail for you. Hell, you need to bring me my necklace anyway, so come on down! Hooty Hoo! Later, Chuckie

It meant alot to me to make my 300th at my home dz with my bestest friends (like Phree and Wildblue) so that's why i skipped out on Raeford. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! Spy38W 0 #9 July 10, 2002 I really wish I could have made it. I was so looking forward to it, but I had a cutaway, so I needed a reserve repack and a new main... -- Hook high, flare on time

narcimund 0 #11 July 10, 2002 Hmmm. I know my homeowner's insurance covers me if I lose things, even out of my house. It basically covers everything I own. Once I had a motorcycle helmet and leather jacket stolen from a park. Insurance wrote me a check. I wonder if it would cover a parachute misplaced during a cutaway. Was planning on borrowing from somebody, but they ended up not being able to go either. -- Hook high, flare on time

You just had to come to SGC instead of Raeford. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug!

Yeah, I guess you're right, I could have driven 800 miles past Raeford, picked up the main, and then headed back down, I was just making excuses I'm sending an order form to my drogue dealer today for a new main, they don't have a demo program, just a 30-day money back if your not happy deal -- Hook high, flare on time
