lummy 4 #3 July 17, 2002 a DVD can hold anywhere from 4.7 gig to 17 gigabytes of info(see here, CDR's hold 680 megs. Most CD authoring software will let you make burn a VCD (videoCD) including Nero and Adaptec (Roxio) Most newer DVD players will also play VCD formatted discs. the format is MPEG which takes up a lot of space. IIRC, a full length video fit on 3 cd's and the quality sucked, but the original was DIVX (which is meant to be portable and sufffers some in qualityI promise not to TP Davis under canopy..
