Skyrose7 0 #1 July 22, 2002 heya, I don't think I am getting in over my head, but I sure do have a few butterflies about going to wffc. I just found out I am going. I have never been outside my dz. The guys I am going with said they would watch out for me and keep me away from the hot shots. I am confident in my ability to always be aware of people around me in freefall and under canopy. AndyMan 7 #2 July 22, 2002 You should expect Really, Really, Really, Really big landing areas. You should plan on using that really, really, really, really big landing area too. Other then that, you should expect a plane taking off every two minutes, and an awesome assortment of the coolest jump planes in the world. Your profile says you have 25 jumps. Is that out of date? Vallerina 2 #9 July 22, 2002 Cool! Glad to hear you're goin! Expect to have much much fun, to meet wonderful people, and to jump from some groovy aircraft. My advice: hook up with the organizers for low-timers (I think it's tent 3 this year?????) They kick major booty over there! I learned a bunch, and they helped make the convention not so scary. My other piece of advice is to be careful round those golf carts! (Can you get a DUI for that??????????)
