INSANEDADDY 0 #1 July 22, 2002 Just finished my would have been AFP-13 this weekend. I had all the money in my pocket to complet AFP. I had not jumped since March 21st of this year. I am thinking I am getting closed to graduation. Well I manifest and find out they have changed thier training program. It is now called STP. Skydiving training Program. They added 5 more jumps to the program Their goes money for my rig to more student jumps. Does anyone know why they changed the program? Is this just something for this DZ or is this USPA? AggieDave 6 #2 July 22, 2002 Are they not willing to work with you on the program that you started with? Did you talk to the JMs that you had been working with?--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

PhreeZone 20 #4 July 22, 2002 DZ Specific. The USPA could care less if you complete all the student objectives in 7 jumps or 20 jumps. Each DZ is free to create their own student program based on the type plane and number of instructors they have. IE you might do 10 SL's and then move to a one JM from 13k jump program or 3-5 tandems then 3-7 assisted jumps. It allows the DZ to design a program that will teach all the skills with the type of instruction that they have.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
