Ok what do you wear on your body when you jump??

Recommended Posts

By this i don't mean what kinda rig/helmet you wear i mean Jumpsuit, shoes, or anything under your jumpsuit (you don't have to answer that one if you don't want to;))

I wear a bright blue student jumpsuit, Either umbros or a thicker kind of shorts, a t-shirt, and either vans or Saucony running shows.

I wear whatever I was wearing on the way to the Dz. Possibly my Black RW suit, or nothing at all. All I care about is that I remember to strap on the rig.

sooooo you could get your twig and two berrys tucked under a leg strap and wouldn't care!!?!?:o

i fly an assorted pair of DaKine freefly suits, and a Tony rw suit. i wear Otimix shoes, because they are designed for kick boxing, and have Velcro fastners, instead of laces, easy off, easy on...etc...i generally wear one of my old A&M jerseys and a pair (i know, i know) spandex biking shorts. they keep the "family jewels" in place!

Depends on the jump and the weather.

Freeflying I wear my Firefly freefly suit. RW I wear either my Firefly RW suit or my beat up old Pit Special if I need to go faster. Soon I'll add a solid pink FliteSuit Body suit to my "quiver".

Warm weather I wear comfy shorts, whichever skydiving tshirt is next in line in the closet and currently a very sad looking pair of Vans slip ons on my feet.

Cold weather I wear sweats. Same tshirt selection procedure as above except it's gotta be longsleeved. If it's really cold I'll add another pair of socks, my thermal turtleneck, thermal long underwear and maybe even a sweatshirt.

Depends on the wweather for this kid too-
Summertime it's a pair of sawed off jeans and maybe a t-shirt or tank top, and either wrestling shoes or sneakers , under my secondhand Bev suit (white black and dark gray- Rig is 100% black-)
or my cool Bomber freefly suit - Purple bottom half and top is neon yellow w/purple tyedye-
Wintertime gets a little more serious- Thermals, two pair of socks, jeans, longsleeve t-shirt and a polypro turtleneck, then the jumpsuit, two liners under a pair of cold-weather wide receivers' gloves, and my Z-1.

How "cold"? Last year the coldest temp I recall was neg. 18 F at 10,500 - I wonder what the wind chill was? Andrenaline is a wonderful anti-freeze!

Long sleeve t-shirt and loose jeans from a 2nd hand shop, generic vans (I'm cheap! ;)) For some strange reason, jumpsuits are uncomfortable to me (I know they are very useful though), except for Da Kine freefly pants. Someday, when I have enough mula, I will get a pair. Getting air is the priority right now.

Summer... Short, or swim trunks, t shirt, teva;s and my jump suit. Srping/fall... Jeans, long sleve shirt, jumpsuit and shoes. Winter... depends on how much snow is on the ground but jeans with sweats under them, tshirt and fleece, and double socks is pretty common under the jump suit.

True.....that's why I don't have any DaKine gear currently. My budget does not permit.:(

However Chuck is currently teaching my wife and I how to kite surf. Hmmmmm...maybe someday if I save him from a shark attack while surfing he will give me a discount and Dakine kickers!! ;)B|

During the summer, baggy shorts, t-shirt and a pair of Vans or Airwalks.

In the winter: Long-sleeved T-shirt and/or turtle-neck, jeans and my Doc Marten boots.

After a personal equipment failure last summer, I now wear a good, solid bra, cotton undies, sox and tennis shoes double knotted, long pants, a skydiving shirt, a heavy cordura jumpsuit which I borrow from Square 1, hair french braided and then tucked again under my goggle strap.

I value my skin, and because I can't land really well yet, I figure the more layers between my skin and the ground, the better. Someday I will land better, and I will be able to afford a jumpsuit which is pretty, but until then, it's the above...
