Opinions on this jumpsuit Design.

Recommended Posts

I it was me ordering a new jumsuit. (it would be my 3rd).

I'd have zippers on the arms and on the legs, especially in year around jumping like you do.

Ive have competition grippers on the inside legs, even for recreational FS.

make sure it has a hook knife pocket on the legs.

I'd have the standard inside pocket and a leg exterior pocket if it's available.

Red , white or blue always works for good colors.

I have hot pink though, but Im a hot pink girl! :$

I remember being told that if you are going to be using your jump suit for competitions, that red is not the best colour for grips as on camera red doesn't come up as clear and defined as other colours!
A little tip from VMAX there!

While were talking about jump suits, I've been offered a jumps suit for much cheapness, ony problem is that it a mix and match with several minging colurs. Is it hard to dye the suit to other colors, like black and something else? Anyone every dyed their jumpsuit themselves?

I helped Jessica dye her suit all black. I think she had to use an acid based dye and leave in in boiling water hor a while to get it to work. But it did go to all black eventually.

Nice. My colors are Royal, Red, and black. If you get colors you like and stick with them, eventually everything's coordinated.

I've got a Pit Special, definitely get the jumbo grips. Mine are red, and show up fine on video. If the others are wearing black gloves, there's plenty of contrast. Like jumperpaula says, get the inside leg grips. Don't bother with the second set of upper arm grips, they just encourage the frisky to climb on your back and ride.

You gettin the cordura butt and knees?

I always re-inforce the knees and seat so they don't get torn up climbing and sitting in the airplane. For about 10 bucks it ads a lot of life to the jumpsuite.

Also, I'd go with Paula and get another pocket - on the inside. Great place for goggles, gum, earplugs, Etc..

Once the plane takes off, you're gonna have to land - Might as well jump out!!

Just a thought: If you want to do any really serious FS say 4-way you might want to tkeep the colors dark because the white gloves on a dark suit come out best on video for judging.
The hook knife I would reconsider for RW. Lots of RW is a full contact sport and the knife might hurt someone. Just my 2 cents.
As for the rest. Get cordura grippers, butt, knees. Definitely get inside leg grippers.
Don't forget big booties
300 is not bad. Mine cost me 400+

Yep, $300 is about right. It will be a nice suite though. Remember to get measured by the dealer or someone who sells jumpsuites. 1/2-inch off makes all the difference in the world.

i don't plan on doing really serious fs just recreational stuff for now. Thats a good point about the hook knife. I don't think booties are a big thing for me. I can already track well due to my 6'3" hight. Thanx for the advice Alby
