mouth 0 #1 July 28, 2002 I will admit to owing beer this weekend. I went down the Skydive Flagler Beach and got the chance to do four wonderful beach jumps. We jumped a Cessna (which I hate...we all know I am a plane bitch)and I actually was ok with it by the last jump! I stood all of them up right in front of the restaurant where we were being picked up (one of the guys landed in the water on the first jump...not pretty). I also hit 300 on the last jump so I guess I now owe 2 cases...well worth the effort. I highly suggest everyone give beach jumping a go at one time or another. -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit. narcimund 0 #2 July 28, 2002 I made 4 beach jumps a while back when I was in college. Every year a couple of hundred Reed College students would take over an isolated 100 acre camp ground at the Oregon coast for a weekend. The only way to get there was to take private ferry over a river, hike 5 miles through the woods, or skydive in. I totally loved exiting over the water and looking down at the waves in freefall. Sand is the best landing surface in the world, too. Especially if you tend to land hard like I often did. First Class Citizen Twice Over

mouth 0 #4 July 29, 2002 JT... I don't know if you remember Howard Adams from Skydive Atlanta (tandem and AFF) but he has opened Flagler again. He was my first jump master so it was really cool to have him on my 300th too. I hope we can get a big group together and head down to do beach jumps and have a bonfire and party some. Anyone interested??? Lisa -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit.

I need to take at least one skydiving trip now that my plane is finished and tested. I can't afford the WFFC this year, but might be able to afford a Florida trip. mouth 0 #7 July 30, 2002 I had mentioned Labor Day weekend so those who had to travel would have a little extra time, but I don't know for sure. Is there any time that would be more convenient for you??? -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit.
