pop 0 #1 August 7, 2002 I have been searching the internet like crazy for the past 3 days trying to find an out-of-print CD called "Dreamland 2000" It is a 2-CD set with a silver cover and blue writing containing Trance music. Does anyone know anybody who can get a hold of out-of-print CD's, or maybe lead me to a website which might have a used copy. I will appreciate any help.7 ounce wonders, music and dogs that are not into beer
Sebazz1 2 #2 August 7, 2002 You know POP while you are out here in Nor Cal you should go up to the Haight Ashbury district in San Francisco and go check out some CD stores there.
AggieDave 6 #3 August 7, 2002 If you had a list of artists and titles you could recreate the CD, probably fairly easily (I do that sort of thing all the time with CD sets I see advertised on TV that I think would be cool). Or try a used CD place like Disco-round (houston area) or maybe even Ebay.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." pop 0 #4 August 7, 2002 QuoteIf you had a list of artists and titles you could recreate the CD, probably fairly easily Yes I can surely do that, but this is the deal. My brother and I actually use to own it. The CD has sentimental value behind it. Three nights ago my brother was car jacked at gun point. The CD set was in the car. If I can find the original and get it for him, it would mean a lot to him, and should cheer him up a bit.7 ounce wonders, music and dogs that are not into beer
SkymonkeyONE 4 #5 August 7, 2002 just a guess, but I believe you could pick it up from either the DSS people (everything they play is also sold by them) and also at www.digitallyimported.com . Actually, that is where I would look first. Chuck "currently listening to the hard trance channel"

Muenkel 0 #11 August 7, 2002 Pop man, sorry for your brother. The important thing is he is OK. I was going to suggest a site that does on line sharing of songs that you can burn, but since you need the actual CD, I will look around and see what I can find out. cbain 0 #13 August 7, 2002 Try one of the ones listed here... http://dir.yahoo.com/Business_and_Economy/Shopping_and_Services/Music/CDs__Records__and_Tapes/Antique__Rare__and_Collectible/ If you email them they typically have access to computer databases of hundreds of stores all once that they can search. I've found rare books and rare vinyl records both this way with great success. Good luck and glad your brother's okay. Christina
Scoby 0 #14 August 7, 2002 That's a good idea, but trance comps tend to be continuously mixed (that is, the tracks flow into each other). I've made my own compilations, but the transitions between tracks are often jarring.
