Rdutch 0 #1 August 9, 2002 I was just looking at the classified section to see what I could get for my canopy. And Its full of people selling Tiny fx's, vx's and Velocitys. Selling point in general: ITS TOO SMALL for me. Or Not experienced enough for it. Doesn't anyone jump something before they spend $2000 on it. And doesn't a 72-90 square foot canopy sound sickly small. I have a 96 velocity and its fast enough and I put 400 jumps on a 111 before I downsized. Its amazing people aren't hurting themselves routinely. Anyway something to think about try something before you buy it and dont jump something because its the smallest you can find without enough experience. What do you think? PLFXpert 0 #2 August 9, 2002 Hey Ray...just to pick on you: Maybe they have jumped them and are selling to get a new or smaller one? BZ just sold his Stilletto 97 a while back w/ 2000 jumps on it so he could buy his Velocity 90. Maybe these people are doing the same, or does it say something like, "10 jumps on it" in the ad? If that's the case, I'd say you're right.

PLFXpert 0 #4 August 9, 2002 Ohhhhhhh, yea, then I hear you. It seems like common sense to demo a canopy for a few jumps before you commit to purchase. But who knows what happened? I'll see you soon, Ray.

TEB6363 0 #6 August 9, 2002 Oh, where is Lisa when you need her??? When the BYTCH gets back, you will be forced to sell your little canopies. Once the plane takes off, you're gonna have to land - Might as well jump out!!
weid14 0 #7 August 9, 2002 I really dont' know what the big deal is, shoot -- years ago when poeple learned, they were on MUCH smaller canopies -- look at all the 21 and 28 foot high performance PC's they were jumping for goodness sake!
