freeflir29 0 #17 August 15, 2002 Congrats!!! I here they are promoting something like 75% of E-4's these days. You better have made it. It was a mixed blessing when I made it. I was seriously considering sitting on my ass for a few years and then taking the high year tenure at 10. I would only have to stay in an extra 5 months from the enlistment I was already on but....the nuckle heads promoted me and I sewed on the stripe at what was then the "normal" time. 7 1/2 frickin years!!!!
