My previous post regarding this resulted in a lot of "oh wait, it's invite only, special list, etc". BS. If you don't let them know your interested, you'll never get an invite. We are filling the few remaining slots for the Ballunar LiftoffFestival, Aug 23 - 25, on the grounds of NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston. We are looking for D licensed jumpers with appropriate ability in formation skydiving larger than 20-ways. Hot dogs not needed.This event ROCKS! It's actually a weekend-long demo cleverly disguised as a boogie. Steak dinner Friday evening, hotel pool party Saturday night, Infamous Tortilla Fightin' Sunday evening - and jumps into rocket field for the crowd at NASA in between the festivities!! 6jumps, $112 - $14.50 a jump!This event is by "invitation only", so interested jumpers must be approved by a team captain. airgord 1 #2 August 20, 2002 I highly recommend going to this if you can, i went last year and shot vid for Jack Berkes group, really fun people, great parties, tortilla flinging, way outta hand. There is nothing like watching 50 to 60 hotair balloons flying by maybe 10 feet over your head. Pretty awesome. The view from the door of the Casa of the Gulf of Mexico is fantastic!
